On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, on December 10th, 2022, the Association of Roma Novi Bečej organized a celebration within the project "Presentation of Roma culture" which was supported by the Municipality of Novi Bečej. What we wanted with this project was to break the prejudices about the Roma people and the stereotypes that accompany them: that Roma are only engaged in music, that there are no educated Roma men and women, etc. With this event, we pointed out to that these are just prejudices and in a funny and creative way we showed and reminded ourselves of Roma culture.
