The Roma Inclusion Office, in cooperation with the Association of Roma Novi Becej, organized an event in Novi Sad on the occasion of the “16 Days of activism” - International Day against gender based violence.

The goal of the event is to raise awareness of the fact that we are all born equal, with equal conditions for exercising the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, and that violence against women is a segment that threatens and injures them.

The event was attended by Ms. Ljiljana Mihajlović, director of the Office for Roma Inclusion, Ms. Jelena Jovanović, provincial MP, Ms. Maja Miljković, director of the Provincial Institute for Social Protection, Ms.Tatajana Stojšić Petković, president of the National Organization of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia, Ms. Marina Simeunović from Initiative A11, Ms. Zorica Šurlan from the Association of Roma in Novi Becej and Ms. Slađana Šimon, MD, PhD, from the Clinical Center of Vojvodina.
